Competition Rules

A baseline snapshot of your post is taken the instant your entry is confirmed. From that moment, every metric is measured as growth: current value minus baseline value, floored at zero. Your score is the sum of each metric's growth multiplied by that competition's published weight.

Scoring is never based on lifetime totals, so a post's existing reach gives no advantage and a large account has no automatic edge over a small one.

• Metrics are read from Meta's official APIs on a fixed interval, stated on each competition page.
• Every reading is stored as an immutable snapshot; nothing is overwritten.
• Meta reports insights on a delay, so the leaderboard may lag by up to one sync interval.
• A final snapshot is taken after the window closes, so late engagement inside the window still counts.

• You must own or administer the account you enter with, and it must be able to report insights.
• One entry per creator per competition; one post per entry; one connected account per entry.
• The post must satisfy the publish-time rule stated on the competition page.
• Any minimum follower requirement is stated before entry opens.

Where two entries have the same score, the tie is broken by higher comment growth, then higher share growth, then earlier entry confirmation.

The prize pool is a published percentage of the entry fees collected. The prize schedule totals exactly 100% of that pool. A band spanning several positions divides equally across the positions actually filled, amounts round down to two decimals, and the rounding remainder goes to first place.

Prizes are credited automatically to your wallet on settlement, except where an entry in a prize position is under integrity review — those payouts are held until the review is resolved.

Purchased engagement, engagement pods, bots and coordinated inauthentic activity are prohibited. Entries showing these signals are held for human review before any payout, and are disqualified with a recorded reason if confirmed. Disqualification re-ranks the leaderboard and recomputes prize allocation.

Deleting or unpublishing an entered post before the window closes disqualifies the entry, without refund.

If confirmed entries are below the published minimum when the window closes, the competition is voided and every entry fee is refunded in full to the entrant's wallet. No prizes are paid.

Rules are versioned, never overwritten. A competition is governed by the version in force when it opened, and that version stays permanently readable at its own URL.
